Walk and Run activity records
Start the appropriate activity type and carry the device through the outing. Marchh associates accepted location samples with time to represent the recorded path and calculate activity information.
The record can help someone review where accepted movement occurred and compare distance, duration and pace across their own outings. Marchh does not claim heart-rate monitoring, calories, coaching or training plans here.
How GPS quality affects the route
Phones estimate location rather than measuring a perfect continuous line. Buildings, trees, tunnels, terrain, satellite visibility, device hardware, permission state and background behavior can produce drift or gaps.
Marchh may omit samples that fail quality or integrity checks. As a result, the visible route and calculated metrics are useful product estimates rather than guaranteed physical measurements.
From activity to territory
A recorded path can become a candidate for territory when its accepted geometry closes around an area. Marchh then applies current eligibility, integrity and conflict rules before updating the shared map.
This territory consequence is what distinguishes the broader Marchh tracking experience from an activity log that ends with a line and statistics. It does not mean every tracked route creates a polygon.
Reviewing activity history
Activity history provides a way to revisit supported records and their movement information. A historical activity and current territory are related but not identical: territory ownership can later change while the activity describes its original outing.
Marchh is not a turn-by-turn navigation or medical service. Choose routes independently using current safety and access information.
Questions people ask
Does every activity create territory?
No. A completed activity does not guarantee a claim. Route geometry, location quality, activity integrity, territory conflicts and other Marchh validation rules can affect eligibility.
Does Marchh provide navigation or coaching?
No navigation, coaching or training-plan feature is verified in the current Marchh source content.
