What you can do in Marchh
Record a walk or run with device location, see the route and activity information such as distance and pace, and use qualifying movement to create covered areas and virtual territory.
Territory ownership appears on Marchh's shared map and can change through the product's territory mechanics. Public and social features can include activity sharing, captions, comments, following, reporting and blocking.
Before the first activity
Marchh relies on device location for its core movement and territory functionality. Location Services, Marchh location permission and Precise Location should be enabled where available. Background location may support an activity you intentionally start while the app is backgrounded or the device is locked.
GPS is not perfectly accurate. Buildings, trees, terrain, tunnels, device hardware and satellite visibility can affect the recorded route. Marchh may ignore points that do not meet accuracy or integrity requirements.
Use Marchh with attention
Choose routes that are safe and lawful. Never trespass, enter restricted places, use railway infrastructure, ignore traffic rules or interact with Marchh while driving. Virtual territory does not grant access to real property.
Marchh is not an emergency, rescue, navigation, medical or safety service. Read the safety page and Community Guidelines before turning territory into a reason to explore somewhere unfamiliar.
