Account and Sign-In Help
Marchh may allow you to sign in using Sign in with Apple, Google, or email.
If you are having trouble signing in, first confirm that you are using the same authentication method associated with your Marchh account and that your device has an active internet connection.
If an authentication provider is temporarily unavailable, wait and try again.
Never send your password, Apple credentials, Google credentials, magic-link tokens, authentication tokens, or other secret information to Marchh Support.
If the issue continues, email:
Include your Marchh username if you know it, but do not include passwords or secret authentication information.
Location and GPS Help
Marchh relies on device location for its core movement and territory functionality.
If Marchh cannot determine your location, check that Location Services are enabled on your device, Marchh has location permission, Precise Location is enabled where available, and your device has a usable GPS/location signal.
GPS accuracy may be reduced indoors, near large buildings, under dense tree cover, in tunnels, or in other environments with poor satellite visibility.
Marchh may intentionally ignore location points that do not meet its accuracy or movement-integrity requirements.
Background Location
When you intentionally record a Walk or Run and grant the necessary permission, Marchh may continue recording the activity while the app is in the background or your device is locked.
If background recording stops unexpectedly, check Marchh's location permission and your device's battery/background settings.
Background location is used to support active location-dependent Marchh functionality.
Walk and Run Activities
Before starting an activity, make sure your device has a usable location signal.
Carry the device with you throughout the activity.
Marchh calculates activity information from accepted location samples. Poor GPS information or implausible movement may be rejected to protect the accuracy and integrity of activities.
If an activity does not look correct, restarting the app will not necessarily restore location information that your device failed to record.
If you repeatedly experience incorrect activity recording, contact:
When useful, include your device model, operating-system version, Marchh version, and a description of what happened.
Covered Area and Territory
Marchh can use qualifying movement to create virtual covered areas and territory.
A completed activity does not automatically guarantee a territory claim.
Territory eligibility can depend on route geometry, covered area, location quality, activity integrity, territory conflicts, and other Marchh validation rules.
If a claim conflicts with existing authoritative territory information, Marchh may reject or modify the result according to its territory rules.
Marchh territories are virtual only. They do not provide property ownership or physical access rights.
Territory Ownership
Public territory may display information identifying the Marchh account associated with that territory.
Territory ownership can change through Marchh's territory mechanics.
If you believe a territory result is technically incorrect, contact support with enough information for us to identify the relevant activity.
Do not use territory information to confront another user in person.
Social Features
Marchh Social may allow users to share activities, publish captions, comment, follow profiles, report content, and block users.
Content and behaviour on Marchh must follow the:
Marchh Community Guidelines https://marchh.app/community-guidelines
If you encounter abusive content, use the in-app Report option where available.
Reporting Abuse
Use Marchh's Report function for supported posts, comments, profiles, and users.
Reports may be reviewed to determine whether an account or content violates Marchh's Community Guidelines or Terms.
For a serious concern that cannot appropriately be reported inside the app, email:
Marchh support is not an emergency service.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service.
Blocking Someone
Where supported, Marchh allows you to block another user.
Blocking can reduce or remove Social interactions and visibility between the accounts.
Some public territory information may remain visible because territories exist on Marchh's shared map.

Deleting Your Account

If your account includes Sign in with Apple, Marchh may ask you to authenticate with Apple during deletion so that Marchh can revoke the related Apple authorization.
Account deletion may not be reversible.

For security reasons, we may require reasonable verification before acting on an account-specific request.
