Getting Started With Marchh

Download Marchh on iPhone, create or access an account, allow the permissions needed for the features you use, and start a Walk or Run. Move normally and safely, complete an eligible closed route, and Marchh can evaluate the activity for virtual territory on its shared map.

Move → Close → Claim is the core flow, but completing an activity never guarantees territory. GPS quality, geometry, integrity checks and existing territory can affect the result.

1. Download and access your account

Install Marchh from the verified Apple App Store listing, then create or sign in to an account using the options shown in the app. Keep access credentials private and use the Support page if account access repeatedly fails.

Marchh's currently verified public availability is for iPhone. This guide does not imply an Android version.

2. Prepare location permission

Marchh needs device location to record real-world movement. Enable Location Services, allow Marchh location access and use Precise Location where available for the route and territory features you want to use.

Background location may support an activity that you intentionally started while the app is backgrounded or the phone is locked. Operating-system settings and battery behavior can affect whether samples remain available.

3. Start a Walk or Run

Choose Walk or Run, begin recording through the normal product flow and carry the iPhone throughout the activity. Move outdoors where GPS has usable satellite visibility when practical.

Marchh can calculate a recorded route, distance, duration and pace from accepted activity information. These measurements remain estimates affected by the device and surroundings.

4. Move, close and wait for validation

Follow a safe, lawful route and bring it back around if you want to attempt territory. Never trespass, enter a restricted place or ignore traffic and terrain to force a shape to close.

After completion, Marchh can evaluate accepted GPS samples, route geometry, activity integrity and conflicts. An eligible result may create virtual territory; an activity can still remain in history without producing a claim.

5. Explore the shared map and history

The shared map can show virtual territory and account associations that result from Marchh's current mechanics. Territory can change and does not create rights over the physical land beneath it.

Review activity information for context, not as survey-grade measurement. If repeated recording or territory problems persist, consult the troubleshooting guides or contact support.

Questions people ask

Does every activity create territory?

No. A completed activity does not guarantee a claim. Route geometry, location quality, activity integrity, territory conflicts and other Marchh validation rules can affect eligibility.

Is Marchh territory real property?

No. Marchh territory is entirely virtual. It creates no ownership, possession, access permission or other legal right over a physical place.
