A Walking App That Turns Movement Into Territory

Marchh is a walking territory app that can turn an eligible closed GPS walk into a virtual area on a shared map.

Everyday streets can become route choices: a block, a park perimeter or a longer neighborhood loop. The point is not simply to log a walk, but to shape a persistent map through genuine movement.

Walking makes the map more deliberate

Walking offers time to notice how streets and paths connect. A route can be chosen for the shape it may enclose, while distance and pace remain part of the activity record.

A slow, careful loop is not automatically eligible. Accepted location samples still need useful geometry and quality.

Build exploration into ordinary movement

A routine walk can take a different street, connect two familiar paths or circle a public green space. Marchh gives those choices a map consequence without claiming that every outing must be competitive.

Choose a route that is safe, public and appropriate for walking.

Close a route without chasing the screen

Plan the broad loop before starting. Pay attention to traffic and surroundings, and stop in a safe place if the device needs attention.

When a route returns around, Marchh evaluates it. A claim can still fail because of GPS, integrity, geometry or territory conflicts.

A walking-first example

Imagine a regular outing around four connected public streets. Taking the final street back toward the beginning can create a genuine loop without changing the walk into a race. Marchh records the route and evaluates the shape after the activity.

A different return street on the next outing may produce a different covered area. The value is in noticing the neighborhood and making a deliberate route choice, whether or not either activity becomes territory.

Questions people ask

Does every activity create territory?

No. A completed activity does not guarantee a claim. Route geometry, location quality, activity integrity, territory conflicts and other Marchh validation rules can affect eligibility.

Is Marchh territory real property?

No. Marchh territory is entirely virtual. It creates no ownership, possession, access permission or other legal right over a physical place.
